The mission of Alive in Jesus Ministries is to speak the truth--that being alive in Jesus Christ is the best way to live--and to minister to those in need.

Betty Patten, President, is an author and speaker on issues of concern to the Christian community. She has a God-given passion to reach her fellow Christians with the love of Christ and speak the truth about the Christian walk.

Alive in Jesus Ministries has a threefold purpose:

1) To speak the truth of God’s Word--that true life comes through knowing and walking with Jesus.

You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. --John 8:32 (NKJV)

He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. --2 Corinthians 5:15 (NKJV)

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. --Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)

2) To minister the life of Jesus--the river of healing (physical, emotional, spiritual, relational) that only comes from knowing Him.

Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters . . . Behold I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:16,19 (NKJV)

Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. --Jesus, John 4:13-14

And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. --Romans 8:11

3) To encourage those seeking a deeper walk in life with Christ.

Yet I am always with You; You hold me by my right hand. You guide me with Your counsel, and afterward You will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. --Psalm 73:23-26 (NIV)
